Recently renovation and modernisation, The Old Dairy is next door to our 17th century longhouse. We have furnished it to a high standard with all modern facilities. It is suitable for one or two people.

The accommodation is on one floor. The stable door leads into a spacious porch with space for hanging coats and leaving dirty boots and shoes. Another stable door then leads into the cottage. The large living area has a kitchen at one end and the livingroom at the other. The whole cottage is bright and airy with birch floors and modern furniture and velux rooflights giving extra light.

The kitchen is fitted out with sink, worktops, fridge, electric cooker and microwave and all the necessary equiment required for everyday cooking. A washing machine is available for your use in a nearby building.

There is a dining table and chairs and the living area has a sofa, coffee table, television and radio/CD player and an electric flame effect heater. There are storage heaters in both the living area and the bedroom.

The bedroom leads off the living area and contains a double bed with bedside tables and lamps. It is fully carpeted and the view from the window is out over the garden to the stream. At night, with the window open, all you can hear is the sound of the stream and you will be woken by the birds. The bathroom leads off the bedroom and it is fitted with toilet, basin, electric shower and room heater.

Your small private garden is in the front of the cottage. It is a suntrap in the afternoon with table and chairs and a barbecue.  We have a very large garden all around the cottage and you are welcome to wander around it or sit out under the pergola or beside the stream or the pond.
